The Challenge
The Americas Society and the Council of the Americas bring together leading business, political and cultural leaders of the Western Hemisphere. No small task.
But conveying the scope of their shared work and goals has been a struggle. Established together in 1965 by David Rockefeller, the sibling agencies needed a website that would reflect common objectives, highlight impact and make the work clear and accessible.
The Solution
Our mandate was to create a visual link between the two separate organizations. The new site highlights AS/COA’s unique value—vibrant cultural events integrated with policy expertise and leadership. The sum of everything.
We developed a Drupal-based CMS for client-driven fluidity that combines robust social networking tools with a unified visual experience.
The Result
The majority of AS/COA site users visit weekly for news and analysis on economic and financial issues. Now, agency staff can update articles and events as often as they like, without burying older editorial and users can easily browse by issue and country.
