The IMA recognizes the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honors individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievement. The agency won Best in Class, the highest honor in the competition, for its Bausch & Lomb ReNu website (www.renu.com) in the Health/Nutrition category. The entry scored a total of 490 points out of the maximum of 500 points -- winners in the 480-500 range are bestowed Best in Class. Coming closely on the heels of this high score are the two wins for IMA's second highest honor, Outstanding Achievement, for the newly-launched Lancome website (www.lancome-usa.com). The site won Outstanding Achievement in the Beauty/Cosmetics category with a total of 466 points, and in the E-Commerce catetory with a total of 460 points. Winners of this award are in the 460-479 range. The IMA honors are a tough competition and a challenge to win. Work is judged on five criteria: design, content, feature functionality, usability and standards compliance/ cross browser compatibility. "We knew that the Lancome site was a winner to us, and for our client, effectively utilizing state-of-the-art technology and beautiful design to enhance the user experience. We're proud that the IMA saw its quality and superiority to honor us in this way. And to top that off with a Best in Class for the Bausch & Lomb ReNu website, makes this a Triple Crown win for us," says Ron Fierman, president, Digital Pulp. Digital Pulp is a New York-based independent, interactive agency specializing in website development. Its clients include Levitz Furniture, Redken, L'Oreal, the NY Botanical Garden, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Harvard Business Review.
