Digital Pulp debuts work for Natural Resources Defense Council

May 23, 2007

New York, N.Y. -- May 23, 2007 -- Digital Pulp, an interactive marketing agency specializing in website development and online marketing, continues to strengthen its relationship with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). The agency has just debuted a new home page for NRDC (http://www.nrdc.org) that provides a colorful and dynamic entry to the site.

DP recently launched http://beattheheat.nrdc.org for the Natural Resources Defense Council, one of the largest and most effective groups in the country focused on addressing environmental issues. Following Beat The Heat, DP redesigned and revamped NRDC's home page to simplify it and deliver a more evocative introduction to the world of NRDC. The site has evolved from information-based, to more emotionally and stylistically resonant, with graphically engaging photos and flash. The background visual represents just one of the issues the NRDC addresses and changes each time a visitor enters the site, while a features carousel allows users to select key issues and current topics; the bottom of the page includes topic columns, news and action plan items.

"Our goal was not only to better organize content and strengthen the site's visual and emotional appeal but aid the client in improved site administration," says Gene Lewis, Co-Founder, Director of Website Development, Digital Pulp. "When visitors enter the site, they are greeted with an easy-to-navigate template that focuses on NRDC's issues and objectives in a compelling, clear way. We're proud of the result." He adds that each subsequent section was designed to follow the look of the home page with new columns on left and right sides, allowing people to easily learn and explore more about the NRDC.

Digital Pulp, celebrating its 10th anniversary, represents a diverse roster of clients that include Bausch & Lomb, the New York Botanical Garden, Lancôme, Redken, Science Magazine, Levitz Furniture and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
